Industry Performance

Our research team undertakes comprehensive analyses of the performance of private equity and other asset classes over various time periods to compare them.

To gather the necessary data, we conduct fund-level surveys of cash flows and valuations, drawing on a variety of sources, including commercial databases, academic institutions with which we collaborate and information provided directly by our members. Our survey included funds investing in companies at all stages of the growth cycle, with a focus on those based in Europe and, specifically, France. Consequently, the data and analysis included in this report represent a significant portion of the private equity industry.

In our analysis, we closely examined the performance of these funds by year of activity, fund type and fund focus. We have also paid particular attention to sector performance, as we believe this information is critical to understanding the overall health and potential of the private equity market in comparison to other markets. Through this in-depth analysis, we hope to provide valuable insights and help our readers make informed decisions about their investments.
